USCMAS Services
The
USCMAS in its quest to raise the standards of Martial Arts Education
& Services to the students of Martial Arts offer many services.
Some of the services are free and some may have fees. The list of
services the USCMAS can help with is always growing through the support
and help of of its members and volunteers.
Insurance Review & Support
The
USCMAS has a former Insurance Agent on staff to help with the review of
your insurance needs. You can contact the Admin Department at any time
for this service. We can help with choosing a policy, policy review of
coverage, types of policies needed, shopping policies and claims
advice. Due to the time of support there is a $10.00 fee for Policy
Shopping & Policy Review.
Curriculum Formatting
This
is a free service to help you put your curriculum into a use able
format. Many Instructors have the forms (Kata), counters /
self-defense, weapons training, testing requirements and many other
things that they teach however it is some times hard to find time to
format the type, number the pages and put the student guides together.
This is where we can help. The USCMAS will take all your written
information, the outline of your promotion requirements and the
pictures you would like included and put them all together in a clear
easy to read format that you can work from. For a $20.00 fee we will
send you a Hard Copy in 3 ring binder format with a master disk you can
take to a printing service.
Curriculum Development
This
is a more aggressive approach in helping instructors reach their full
potential. Some good quality instructors have never had a written
curriculum for their students or their staff to work from. Here at
USCMAS we feel that a written curriculum is a must have to maintain the
highest standards in Martial Arts instruction. We have an excellent
team of Expert Martial Artists, Developers & Historians to work on
each project. There are four phases of Curriculum Development; The
first phase is to determine what the material is you cover or would
like to incorperate. The second phase is to put the material together
and determine how it is to be broke down into a ranking system. The
third phase is to take the material / outline and transcribe it into a
written curriculum. The fourth step is to format it for a student
guide and produce a master CD for printing. This service does take a
lot of staff hours and therefore is higher in cost, about $200.00 on
average from beginning to end.
