| Kenneth "Neo Shogun" Tenorio has been studying Martial Arts
for more than 25 years. He has fought professionally in MMA and Muay Tai for
more than 15 years. He currently holds the rank for Korean Hapkido (4th
degree) black belt, Kodakhan Judo (4th degree) black belt, Brazilian
Jutsu (4th strip) Purple belt (under Rodrido Gracie) and just tested
for his brown belt, and Bok-sul Muay Tai (Red Sash) under Master Tody, along
with more than 5 years of western boxing
training. His accomplishments are: 3x national Grapplers Quest Light Weight
Champion (2001 ~ 2003), 5x Mat Madness Lightweight Grapplers Champion (1998 ~
2004), 2x Pancration Fighting Championships Lightweight (2001-2003), 3x All
Pacific World Kotokhan Judo Lightweight Judo Champion (1990-1993), All California
Lightweight Boxing Champion and Trainer of the Year (2008-2010). Mr. Tenorio
brings a vast knowledge of Combat Sports Knowledge and experience. He currently
has a BA in Sports Psychology and is more of a coach and trainer to those who
have specific needs in improving their mental and physical study in Martial
Arts. Mr. Tenorio stresses technique over power and to never sacrifice
technique for flashy shortcuts. He enforces the study, drill, and the execution
of proper technique. Mr. Tenorio's quote to all his trainees who study under
him, All fighters need to be very explosive, very strong, technically sound,
mentally impenetrable, and above all else resilient. Mr. Tenorio has worked
with and trained with GM Carter a number of times in the past and we here at
PFMA are very happy to have him join our family.
